Oh, I just heard news... one of my close friend's grandmother had just passed on last night... my friend is very devastated now...the loss of her grandmother who was very close to her. We chinese have a tradition. If anyone were to pass away before chinese new year, there would be no huge celebration on that day. Everything will be normal as before, for at least one year. The deceased's family wont have to give ang pows to relatives and friends but their kids (family of deceased) can receive from others..... ain't that something?
Anyway, my condolence to my friend... stay cool...
