One of the household toiletries I love to buy is towels and rugs. Each time I go visiting shopping malls, these items never failed to attract me especially when there is a special promotion going on as well. But lately I notice that the toiletries sold in these hypermarkets are getting more and more costly, maybe it is due to the labour wages that is one of the reasons for the increase of prices.

It has been a long while since I put up my last post. Sorry for the absence, life has been pretty busy for me lately and time really passed real fast, I can say time flies.... Ok, back to posting.. as we all know lately was the month of fasting for the muslims worldwide. It is a month of fasting for them and a time for abstinence, reflection and worship.

Muslims in Malaysia rush back to their hometowns especially those in the cities and they are back to their kampungs, meaning hometowns. The mood is merry with shopping centres and radios playing the cheerful Raya songs. The roads and highways will be jammed up during these holidays.

Breakaway

Its been a long while since I last wrote my last post in this blog. Time flies so fast that I wish one day I have 48 hours instead of 24. A long weekend is coming soon, 4 days in a row and hope that I can go somewhere to have a breakaway. Nowadays health is very important to all of us, it is advisable to have an annual check up, as the saying goes Prevention is better than cure, right? So guys, think about it, do go for a holiday eventhough it is a short one!

All That I Need For My Notebook

Before I enrolled into my college, I bought a new notebook. All college students need one nowadays, for our notes and assignments received through emails from our lecturers. My notebook has all the specifications that I need for my own personal and for my lectures as well, practically I cannot live without one. But unfortunately, my notebook does not come with a bag. It is very inconvenient to carry my notebook around, meanwhile I just put it into my backpack which is not safe and practical at all. I am looking for a netbook bag whereby I can keep my notebook plus my other books needed for my daily studies as well.

My brother has given me a bag but it is not lasting, it is going to tear soon. Sometimes getting a cheap quality bag does not last long and it is not worth buying something of poorer quality. MoonCake Festival

The Mooncake Festival is approaching soon. It is also called Mid-Autumn Festival which falls on the 15th day of the 8th month in the Chinese Lunar Calendar and it coincides with the Autumn Equinox of the Solar Calendar. The traditional food for this festival is the mooncake which is why it is sometimes called the Mooncake Festival.

During this time, the chinese buy mooncakes to give to each other. Little children go around with lanterns, some candle-lit and large processions also take place that feature the biggest and most beautiful lanterns one might ever seen, in the spirit of unity and goodwill.
