Can you imagine driving an electric car? Now China has come up with their new E6 electric car called BYD Cars. It is now being exhibited at the Beijing International Auto Show, oh, how I wish I can be there to view it. Written here in this website, the shape of this E6 is sort of like a MPV and built on the F6's platform, it is smaller than the F6DM hybrid sedan and less expensive.
Coming to the BYD E6 specifications, this special electric vehicle will be a 5 seater with a top speed of 160kph, around 100mph. The battery pack is located under the rear passenger seats, totally different from our normal type of cars, and the battery will be based on BYD's own lithium-ion iron phosphate technology, the range per charge is expected to be 300km equivalent to 186 miles.
