Civil Engineering

My brother is studying civil engineering. What does civil engineering involves? Well, a civil engineer is the one who worked on public works projects including land surveys. Actually civil involves a lot of categories, such as in buildings, roads, bridges, landscaping, piling foundations, so on and so forth. As a civil engineer, he has more responsibilities up on his/her sleeve and for those who are interested in drawings and calculation, civil engineering is a course you can keep in view.

Hi Andy,

My name is Leslie and I'm the Advertising Sales Assistant at the American Society of Civil Engineers. Is your brother a member of the ASCE? If not, he should definitely check it out. ASCE offers all of the most up-to-date news and resources available to professional engineers, including student chapters, ( http://content.asce.org/student/index.html) and Career Connections ( http://careers.asce.org/search.cfm)to help ASCE members find the career path that is right for them. Feel free to email me at ltaege@asce.org if there's anything else I can do to help either of you. Hope you have a great day!
