Online chatting is so common nowadays, it is like an IN happening in almost every house. I started to chat online since 2001, started first in chatrooms and then as months went by, I have my own instant messenger box. Ever since I started to chat, I have come to learn so much, especially strangers who become friends and we still are until today. It is indeed amazing that through online chatting, out of so many millions of people, I can still get to know them and I hope that we can continue to be friends for a long time to come.

But do bear in mind, not everyone can be as fortunate as I am. There are many cases of swindling and conning cases and it is extremely heartbreaking when feelings of emotions come in as well. He is forever My Lord.. no one can ever replace Him and I know He never leaves nor forsake us too.

Though I am not in the working sector yet, but, almost each day I have been hearing the word "recession" and "inflation" among the elders in my family. Just yesterday my uncle told my mum that market value in properties is going down gradually and will be even worse next year. Families from the middle income group and lower will be badly affected by the economy and it is sad to hear many are being retrenched from their jobs too.

For those who are currently having a job might find themselves spending more than they used to, due to high rise of their daily products. Some are resorting to two jobs instead of one to make ends meet. In other cases, there are some who have no choice but to go for cash advance from licensed companies which provide payday loans. And since christmas is approaching, that's how he got name.

Next up, I've decided and have registered online for MMU(Multimedia University) in Melaka. It took me a lot of time to consider and finally I've decided to go there. I will be doing engineering, electronics engineering there and I will be starting school in february. February? Why so early? That's the 1st intake. The 2nd intake is way too late which is on June and I don't know what to do for such a long time. Now, since I am starting in February, I won'e be working part time in January. I will utilize all my time hanging out having fun. That's all I am gonna do. ^^

This is the best month of the year to relax my mind after the finals last month. Nowadays I go online to surf for more information for study courses next year when I enter college. Food Aftermath

I am feeling much better today after 2 days of discomfort in the stomach. I guess this is the aftermath of gluttoning all I could in Penang. Next time I will be more careful in whatever I consume especially the laksa. Imagine 3 bowls of laksa per day, pity my stomach. I dont know when I will be going to Penang again but then no regrets....the food was just fantastic... lol...

Holiday Ends.. But...

Wolla, I am back from holidays 2008. Wakaka. Just came back from Penang yesterday. Let me tell you all what got into me. Ok firstly, it was a wonderful trip to Penang staying in G Hotel. That hotel is fantastic. 5 Star hotel. Very nice and grand. They had welcome drinks and I drink few cups yea. Kekeke. You whould go and try it out some day. Hehe. I told myself, me mission in Penang was to eat as much as I can and enjoy every single bite of food and taste every little bite. Lets see what I ate throughout the whole 3 days. If I could remember. Laksa, Chow Kuey Teow, Nasi Lemak, Apom( Many Flavours), Pancakes, Ikan Bakar, Sotong, Rojak, Tau Fu Fah. That was on the first two days. On the second day itself I ate 3 bowls of Laksa. And guess what, I had diarrhoea the next day. Saddening cause it stopped me from trying the Thai Food before we leave for Ipoh. The Thai Food was so nice. I could taste it with my eyes 0.0. But still, I took a few bites of everything. Wakaka. Since I am having diarrhoea already, no harm adding more to it. Haha. After eating, went home, and started to get sick. Haha. Everything that went it came out. It's a circle. Great, I don't have to exercise to lose them. Wakaka. Gabriel, some day you should go to Penang and experience the food. Me and My brother stuffed lots of rubbish into our stomaches

Next up, I will be finding for a part time job. Actually, I did not want to work, but now, since I am entering late for uni, I will have to work part time. I am stil considering where to go. Anyone interested to go to MMU with me??

This afternoon I went to an Education Fair with my eldest brother, I expected to see a lot of booths but surprisingly, there were not many. Anyway, I collected a lot of brochures back to read through and see what is the best for me to further my studies next year. Due to a tight budget, I have to study locally though a few of my friends have gone abroad to study in Canada, Australia and United States.

As for me, I am still deciding what course I want to take and I am still checking and surfing online for more choices and information. Holiday Mania

I am back from Johor and Singapore BUT that's not the end of this year's holiday trip. I will be going to Penang again this saturday till monday. Haha. Holiday this time was realy fun. Most of the time we EAT and EAT and gain weight. Haha. In singapore we had great food thanks to Mr.Loo and Uncle Larry. Kaka. Thanks to their treat for the wonderful meals. Uncle Loo treated us seafood. GREAT seafood like real tasty shark fin soup and lobsters. Haha. Uncle Larry treated us crabs and gave us a great experience during his son's wedding. The best was the abalone. Not fake abalone. Real abalones. One each but it was a small one. Haha. Still, it tasted so good. Haha. I went to the Education Fair today in Syuen Hotel. There were not many booths but I got to know some colleges and universities with great offers each. However, I still can't make up my mind although I know what I want to do but I am still wondering where I to go and when I wanna start off. I have some choices and plans but I wanna look more into others before I make any choice as I would be there for the next 4 - 5 years. Since its still holidays, I should finish enjoying and plan later. Haha.

I fixed my old computer, the old pentium 4 today. I changed swap the ram slots. How did I got to know that? It was because yesterday when I got home from Johor, I found out that the new computer was down. So this morning I called up the DELL technician and he taught me some troubleshooting steps. So I did it and it worked. Then I tried it on my pentium 4 which always reboots by itself and it works~! Now I can use my old computer again without problems. I clean the interior a little. So filled with dust and I cleaned it with a brush, some tissues and a piece of wet cloth. Well, it works now and I am satisfied with it although it might not be able to support many games but somehow it still allows me to surf the net and maybe dota. Haha.

Today is the 11th and holiday is still on. I wish everyone Happy Holidays. I see my sister asking friends bout holiday homeworks and I thought back bout me for the past few years, I did holiday homeworks too. AND now, I am free~!

From Rags To Riches

When I heard this few words "from rags to riches", it reminded me of one special man whom I really admire. My version of him being "rags" is not the real poverty kind, what I know of him is that he started young, he didn't get a big "A" during his University days and yet, he has risen "sky high" and become one of the richest man in the world.

There are many others outstanding billionaires in this world who have experienced real poverty and yet they become famous and rich later on in life. They are called Nouveau Riche, a French word meaning "new rich" that normally refers to a person who have experienced poverty but gained massive and considerable wealth later on in life. Such wealthy people have acquired and gained a good acquisition of goods or luxuries they have never thought of having during their younger days.

I have read through a few websites stating who and where the Nouveau Riche are. They are astonishing and outstanding people from all over the world who have achieved great successes in their lives. It is interesting to read their profiles and understand how their achievement comes alive in this corporate world.

The one I mentioned earlier that I have grown to admire is none other than Bill Gates whom I really put my hats off to. He is one of the Nouveau Riche I have come across and he is one role model that many would love to follow.

IN JB

Now I am in JB in my cousin's house. Having a fantastic time here.. but we will be going back on Wednesday. Then on Saturday we will go Penang and eat all we can.... I see myself gaining some weight already, must go jogging once back in IPOH. Not good to eat all the time and becoming heavy again...lol....
Tomorrow I will try not to consume so much but then the food here is different...so must try, yeah?

Mac Games For All

School holidays are here and I am feeling rather bored. My school friends have their own plans now, most of them are going their separate ways to pursue further studies in other states. As for me, I will wait for my results to be out in March then only I will decide what my next step will be. Most of the time I will be surfing the Internet for information on the colleges and at times, I will be downloading some games to while away the time. This morning I came across this interesting website where there are so many database of downloadable mac games suitable for young and old alike. I am going to tell my mum, she loves to play Classic solitaire for mac, she said it is to distract her mind off work and at the same time, activating her mind for pleasure... But I have my own interest, I would rather download some iphone games into my cell phone. When my mum is using the computer, at least I have the iphone games to accompany me.

Since Christmas is around the corner, perhaps my mum will allow me to buy and download some of the thrilling games in this website.

For Trips

Will be going for trips starting tomorrow. First stop Johor and second stop singapore. Will be down for holidays until next wednesday ( 10/12/08) and will be meeting my cousin again and will be staying up superb late again. Wakaka. It's fun. After coming back from that trip, on the friday on the same week itself, I will be travelling to Penang again with my family until Sunday. Wee~~ it has been a long time since the last time I went to penang and eat. Haha. I guess this coming holidays will make me put on more weight. I've put on a lot of weight and it's not stopping. =.=

Holidays seem to be very short to me. I don't wanna work next month. Not gonna work at all during this holidays. Why? Haha, I am planning to go to uni early of the year. Although resting until april is a very good idea but I am lazy to work part time. That's why I am planning to go off early and start my foundation. Where? Currently in plan is to go for MMU either in Melaka or Cyberjaya. After taking SPM results maybe I could apply to enter to UTP. Haha. It sounds so troublesome. Lets see how my thinking goes after my holidays. Haha

Anyone interested in playing badminton these holidays? Although it's holidays but it's still hard to find players to go and play. Instead of sitting at home playing and watching tv all day long, it's good to go out and work out a little. Actually so far, I still do not have the time to watch the dvd's yet. I don't know what took up my time. Even playing games, I didn't dota much these holidays. So far la. Haha, it's only 1 week past SPM. Maybe I am still warming up. lolx
