Silent Killer Diseases... what are they? I am sure many of us know who are the real culprits in this case. Three closest brothers linking together and they are namely heart, diabetic and hypertension. They link to each other, once there is a heart problem, it might and could lead to hypertension. Once hypertension is in place, stroke in a person might occur and cause paralysis. Diabetes also can lead to hypertension and hypertension leads to heart problem.

Socso Loans

Just now as I was surfing, I came across Socso scholarship. They are also giving out loans that can be converted into scholarship upon achieving first class honours. Meaning to say, initially, they will give out loans to qualified students furthering studies in approved colleges and universities. And when the students have finished their courses and passed with first class honours then the loans will be converted into scholarships.

For those whose parent is receiving monthly pension from Socso, you can apply for this loan/scholarship in any nearest Sosco office.

Perak Scholarships

For Perakians students who are furthering your studies in colleges or universities, do you know that our state also provide a scholarship for those eligible? Our State scholarship funds can be applied through the Perak State Secretary once you have the offer letter. The sum might not be big but at least it can help to cover some expenses we students need to spend on.

Besides the PTPTN loan, we can resort to JPA scholarships or loans too. I heard Yayasan Perak is also giving our scholarships for those eligible too.... how much I do not know yet but we can always ask for more information from them.

To Stay Healthy

It has been pretty hot nowadays... and at times raining heavily all of a sudden. In this kind of weather, a lot of people will get sick, this is called weather changing during the season of the year. In my family, three of my members are down with flu and cough now. I hope they will recover fast and their bodies system will become strong again.

To avoid infected, personal hygiene is very important. Firstly, do remember to wash our hands clean before consuming anything into our mouths. Secondly, drink more fluids to flush down our toxic. If possible do more exercise like brisk walking in the mornings and evenings. Food also plays an important part, stay away from fried stuff and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits...
