Today I bought some mangosteens home... it is known to have some cooling effect.. let me share with you briefly what a mangosteen fruit is...
The mangosteen is a purple fruit with a hard exocarp or shell that softens as it ripens. Its flesh is a pristine white and has a mild citrus yet creamy flavour. It is really an exotic fruit and it tastes a little like peach. To break it open, one has to put the fruit between both palms and exert a steady pressure until it gives way. But be careful not to let the juice stains your clothing otherwise the stain will be there for good.
