Non-Boring Week (UPDATED)

Today during english class, I was called out by the teacher once she enter. Why? She passed me an article about freedom among teenagers and read it out loud to the class. Ok so I read and the students kinda agreed to the article. So did I. Then some of them shared to the class bout their opinions on this topic. One said that if you want freedom, you must earn it. Do so by gaining trust and confidence from your parents that you can be independent and do not sway away to the wrong path. That's all you have to do. It's not the parents' fault that they do not want to give their child freedom. It's just that they are worry bout them.

Will be going for the Michaelian Badminton Open tomorrow at 7.30am. Playing doubles with Yan Hoe. We're expecting to pass the first round and lose the second because the organizers arranged all the school players and perak trainees all on the second line. So, it's quite unfair though cause there won't be a fair game if the people who we have compete are all the PROS. It means we pay for only 1 round? lolx. But not to give up yet. Nothing is impossible. Who knows one of them break their leg tonight and we can walk over tomorrow. Haha.

My mum got me a new badminton racket. She said since everyone has one. It's time for me to have one. Haha and my tournoment is tomorrow. Good timing. Thanks mum~!! It was a great gift~!! MUACKS~!!

Anyone saw the wonderful solar eclipse today? It was a very beautiful full solar eclipse. I've never seen any before.

A Week Has Gone By

I don't know why but this week has been a great week for me. Haha. I've been busy these days and not even having time to online except for signing in to e-buddy through my phone. No time to blog and hop around in friendster. What Have I been doing? I don't know but i just feel this week has been a great week.

Monday was normal. So was tuesday and there comes wednesday. Yea, rhu got his driving license, so he drove to school that day and I annoyed him till I got him to fetch me home. And yes he did. Haha. Then we went for lunch somewhere in Ipoh Garden eating Chicken Rice and he sent me home. Ok nice riding in his AUTO SAGA and mine was a MANUAL 20 Years Old Saga. Haha.

Friday night was fun. I went for a friend's birthday party in MP. It was the first birthday party that I went throughout this 5 years of my life in secondary school. Normally I would reject invitations cause of either band practices or parental controls. Yea and so I went and enjoyed myself. Of course I had curfew hours. My curfew was initially 10pm but I ended up going home at 11pm. Time passed really fast that night. Fun time passes fast. That's all I can say. Haha. One of the reasons that my curfew was early was because I drove. If I didn't, I would have an extended curfew. Haha. Anyway, it was a great night of socializing with people from different schools. I only knew 4 out of 11 people there. I finally experience teenage social life. Haha. Great~!

Prefects AGM is tomorrow. This means I will be retiring from the prefectorial board tomorrow AND I will get an extended time of 30 minutes sleep everynight.

SPM trials will be coming in one month + and SPM will be coming in 3 months +. Time is limited for studies and I've gotta buck up. That's all I can Say. HAHA

N80 vs Nokia 3250

I woke up yesterday morning and my bro told me that a package has arrived for me. Well, I knew what's that but I did not expect it to come so fast. Good job Skynet. What came for me was a phone I bought from a guy in Lowyat.net. N80 Internet Edition with 3mp camera and wifi functions. So, it's a great phone but except one thing. The slider had problems. It was too loose. So I had to go to a shop in Ipoh Garden to fix it up which ended up changing the whole housing of the phone. But I wasn't dissapointed as I sold my Nokia 3250 at quite a high price and bought the N80 at a lower price so I had extra money for the new housing. Means, I did not actually profit anything. Haha. Can't wait for the phone to come back on monday in it's brand new look. What I have to do now is to back up everything from my nokia 3250 into the computer because these two phones use two types of memory cards. So I will have to back them up into the pc then download it back to the N80. Another is that, now I feel a little depressed on selling off my nokia 3250. It had been with me for 1 year ++ and I had feelings for it after using it for so long. But, a chinese saying sounds " How would the new one come if the old one doesn't go?" Hehe. So it's time to upgrade my phone. Take care N3250. Welcome N80. ^^

Went to the movies with my bro last friday to watch "HANCOCK". Great movie. It's the first time I hang out with my bro and it's nice to have moments like that. Grabbed some Big Apple donuts after the movie and got a couple that stats from 1st till 30th August, every purchase of 12 donuts will entitle me 6 extra donuts for free. Buy 12 free 6, buy 6 free 3. Great~!! Just what I needed.

What Friends Are For

And I never thought I'd feel this way
And as far as I'm concerned
I'm glad I got the chance to say
That I do believe I love you
And if I should ever go away
Well, then close your eyes and try to feel
The way we do today
And then if you can remember
Keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for
Well, you came and opened me
And now there's so much more I see
And so by the way I thank you
Whoa, and then for the times when we're apart
Well, then close your eyes and know
These words are comin' from my heart
And then if you can remember, oh
Keep smiling, keep shining
Knowing you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
In good times, in bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
Oh, that's what friends are for
Whoa... oh... oh... keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, for sure
That's what friends are for
For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for
Keep smilin', keep shinin'
Knowin' you can always count on me, oh, for sure
'Cause I tell you that's what friends are for
For good times and for bad times
I'll be on your side forever more
That's what friends are for (That's what friends are for)
On me, for sure
That's what friends are for
Keep smilin', keep shinin'

Open Day 2008

Yesterday was Open Day for this year, my last open day in my life. Haha. How was it? As usual, after getting the report card my mum will start asking me to work harder. Well, that's true, I will have to work harder now. From my results this time compared to last time, although it's still not good but from my own view I know that I've improved. 4 more months to go and I can relax for the next 6 months provided I don't go for NS.

Band life?? Nothing is up with band life as I'm partially retired from the band. More of taking a break for the SPM examinations. I still attend sectional practices but not formal practices. SO, will be back after SPM. Back To MMB~!

Woops~ I've got nothing much to blog this week. So let's enjoy the videos~!

Deal Or No Deal

No Happenings

This week has been a boring week for me. Nothing much happened except there was one on wednesday which I would keep it as a secret. Haha. Oh, something fun happened yesterday. After school my friends and I, 7 of us went to excelsior hotel for high tea buffet. We saved our stomach from recess time and lunch time for the buffet. We nearly had no seats because we did not had an earlier booking. Anyway, we were lucky enough to get 3 talbes for 7 of us. It's not a simple bufffet when there was Andrew there to provide us with fun and laughters with all his craps and jokes. Haha. Thanks Andrew~! It was a very nice buffet. Everyone agreed that is was cheap at the price of 18++ nett. The aim was to make the manager cry looking at the way we eat but ended up we dropped after several rounds. Hope to go again for the lunch or dinner next time. :)

My computer was ATTACKED by virus twice a day on thursday and it got me into a fuss to reformat it twice. AHH. So the second formatting I did very carefully to ensure no spywares, I installed the security system first. Haha. And now I am using a vista theme recommended by Andrew. Again, Thanks Andrew. It's nice~!

Will be going for prefect outing tonight. I still remember the first time I went for an outing was when I was in form 4. That's was the first outing held and this is the second last outing held. So, what's so fun bout this outing? Yea definitely there is. But I not too sure of how's it gonna run. So, I will update after I am back from the outing. Stay tuned.

A Dedication To All My Band Brothers

To all form 5’s here today, I would like to thank you all for being my good brothers in The Saints for the past 5 years. Life in secondary school wouldn’t be fun without joining the band and meeting you guys. Joining the band was the best thing I’ve ever done in my life and the thing that I won’t regret doing in secondary school no matter how much I need to sacrifice. With you guys, I share my everything, my happiness and my sadness, my joy and my pain. The tears we dropped, the laughers we had, it’s pure memories in our hearts now. Form 1 was the time we were juniors of the band and we are now going to leave the band. Closing my eyes and thinking back the times when I was a little junior till who I am now, I can sense how fast time flies.

The Michaelian Military Band is the place where I’ve brought up as what I am now. Without the band, my life would completely be a different story. Today is our last day in the band and my heart feels really heavy just to retire from the band. The band has left so much memories in me that I couldn’t put down.

Remember the times when we come to school for night practices? Hanging out after practice in the afternoon at mamak? Teasing each another? Spending a night in school after concert? Having supper during midnight in KFC? Complaining bout practices? Laughing and crying after every competition? Crying in the lecture theatre 2 weeks before 2004 Perak Band Finals? Coming to school in the morning of competition day for rehearsal at stadium? Feeling nervous before it’s our turn to perform? Warming up behind the stadium? The feel of stepping into the stadium and on the field? The moment when we stepped out and hear the cheers of the crowd?

These are the things we are putting down now. Honestly these are the memories that made my tears flow down my cheeks while typing this. Few hours from now we would be leaving the band but I always keep this in my heart. I really hope to see you guys, my brothers coming back next year, spending another 12 minutes on the stadium field together and bringing our band to achieve greater heights. My dream has always been getting 1st in Perak and touring with the band to overseas. I feel nice whenever I spend my time with a Michaelian Military Bandsman. The feeling is more than just a normal friendship. Things we do together, we do not do it with other people. No matter what happens, keep this in your hearts my brothers

“ Once a band member, Always a band member”

AGM 2008

Yesterday was AGM and then was when I felt that time passed so fast. I still remember the times when I was a form 1 being ordered and commanded by seniors in the line, looking at seniors leave the band after AGM and now it's my turn. How I wish now I am still a junior looking at EXCO's passing their posts to the seniors. Time passes too fast and it was my turn for my batch to pass our posts down to our juniors. 5 years is really that fast? I wonder what would've happen if I did not join the band in form 1. I would be missing so much fun. The thing that I will keep most in my heart is always the competition day from morning till midnight. That is always the best day in my life. Not to forget, all my friends and all who went through band life with me. Thank you all. You guys are the best people I've ever met in life. Without you guys, my life wouldn't be so meaningful. Without you guys in the band, I wouldn't have experience so much, learn so much and grow up to be who I am now. Special thanks to my friends of my batch, my juniors, my seniors, my instructor, my teacher advisors. Thank you all who helped the band to be one big family consisting of people from different backgrounds. THANK YOU

So Near Yet So Far

Went for Band Finals yesterday night and I felt many things. I feel uneasy cause I am doing something different from what I've been doing. Normally I should be behind falling in and preparing to warm up. This year I walk around the stadium and look at bands warm up. It's completely the opposite of what I've done. I was there in the stadium but I wasn't performing. It's just weird for me for a change in time for me. However I enjoyed being a spectator and after the competition I felt as if I've just finished a competition. Maybe it's because SMI's rival lost that makes me feel as if I've competed. Well, time has passed and like what Navin says, it's time to move on. MMB '09. The pride of St.Michael will be back~!

It ended up with
1st - SMK Nan Hwa, Sitiawan
2nd - SMK Ave Maria Convent, Ipoh
3rd - SMK Perempuan Perak, Ipoh

After that night Navin came to my house to overnight and talk a little issues bout band but we fell asleep due to tiredness.

Perak Finals Tomorrow Night

Normally this time of the year I would be preparing for the big day of my life. The Marching Band Competition. I would be polishing my shoe now, ironing my uniform and preparing my clothings for morning rehearsal. Can't sleep at night cause the day next day will be very exciting. And for year 04 05 06 and 07 I never missed a chance getting the pride of the "Michaelian Spirit" on the competition day once in the stadium.

Many things in St.Michael has lost the "Semangat Michaelian" which is something that drives me in the band every year during the competition. Stepping into the stadium itself can make me feel the cool breeze on my hands and the pride of a marching member. I want it back but unfortunately we can't turn back time. St.Michaels every year on the field will give an impression on the audience not by it's competitive show but by it's spirit of a michaelian. I never take competition so much as a competition. I take it more as something I do when I have the "Michaelian Spirit". Winning or losing doesn't matter to me as long as I keep the tradition of doing it with the spirit of a michaelian.

I am afraid that after tomorrow night I will turn emotional. Simply because I lost something I love most in my life.

Unforgettable Memories Shall Last

It feels so different this year especially this two months June and July where there is no band competition for St.Michaels. Every night before I sleep I think back of 2004 - 2007 the times of formation practices and competition. Time passes so fast. I don't notice myself going through so much in band already. So many competitions and so many memorable nights on the field. The feeling is indescribable. Stepping on the field on that night is priceless and it's a once in a lifetime experience. I feel proud when I am in there because I can feel the amount of spectators looking at us marching and playing songs at the same time. It's not something everyone can do. The feel on the competition day is great. Going to school in the evening. Getting the instruments down and prepare to go to stadium. Once in stadium we move to the back to wait and warm up ourselves, change into our uniforms and talk to each another giving each another words of advice and spirits of being a marching member on the field.

Looking back at the photos during the competition and flashing my mind over all I've been through makes my tears flow down my cheeks. Thinking back, I've experience marching with my seniors and juniors carrying both bass and snare drums. And thinking back, it's like it is about to happen and I can't wait to do it but it has actually happened. My time in MMB has come to an end. Why did it pass so fast? Every night when the competition ends I tell myself next year is coming. But now, there is no more chance for me to march and feel eyes on me as a member in the band. I've almost forgotten how it feels like to march on the field since the last time I went there. What I have been feeling these days are the feelings I have when I was a form 1. How does it feel like to march on the field in the stadium? I ask myself recently. All I want now is just another 12 minutes on that field.

These are the most memorable years in my life. 4 years of that. No way I can get it off my mind. The pride is more than anything in the world.

Perak Band finals will be nexy friday night. I can't imagine how it feels like to go into the stadium and sit at the spectators view and not at the back on the stadium.

There Goes Concert

Concert was yesterday and today I started missing concert already. Concert ended bout 11++pm yesterday night and after packing and stuffs we went back to school bout 1 something in the morning. After resting a while we started our journey to town's 24-hours KFC to have supper. The best part comes when Mun Ming sent us a sms saying that he will pay for our bill. Great~!! So we ordered lots of food and ended up not finishing them so we take away and bring it back for the guard to eat since he is so good to us. Haha. It is so fun to mix around with the SK WInds members.

Band life now would be dull again and even dull for me after handover. No more band practices to attend. The last one would be the AGM. Band life is really coming to an end. I feel very heavy hearted to leave the band or in better saying retiring for The Saints. Normally we finish competition at the end of June before we start to relax but now it's just too early to relax and retire. Will I be back after this year? I miss those fun I had with my seniors last time and my juniors now. My concert members especially those who had fun with me playing basketball from midnight till morning. I miss those times. How can money buy time? If money can buy time I would spend to travel back in time. Well well well, no more mamak food with my juniors, no more fun with my funny juniors. Time passes so fast. Concert ended in a blink of an eye.

3 Day To Concert

Concert will be coming in 3 days time and everyone has been working round the clock almost everyday to make this concert a success. This concert would be the last major function I will be joining but I hope I could join another concert in the future or even marching band competition. Haha. After this friday. life in MMB will be very dull again. No more extra night practices and going to MAMAK for lunch and dinner with my brothers in MMB. After this week, the band marching competitions will be held in all states and I really want to watch the preliminary rounds next week on monday. Argh!!! I hope my mother will allow me to go. Can't join the competition but at least spectate other bands. This year will be a very interesting year. How would it feel like to be in the stadium again but NOT to perform and compete. *sigh*

Went to penang last sunday and monday. Had a great time eating and eating. See, first we arrived in penang road to eat laksa and chaw kuey teaw. Then we went to Queensbay for a walk till bout 2 then we went to some place(I don't know where) for laksa AGAIN and LOH BAK( A type of food) until bout 4. Then we went back to the hotel to rest, bath and watch some television and before we know it. It was time for dinner. So we went to some place to eat. My, my bro and sis shared 4 bowls of mee and a plate of chicken rice. Haha. Okie Dokie. Very full at that time so we went to the beach side for a walk. For 30 minutes then we went for supper in some place (I don't know where again). Went back to hotel slept and next morning went for breakfast. EAT again la. A plate of chicken shop rice and a bowl of KUEY TEOW TENG.

Swing The Funk

Playing Funk and Swing is real hard. That's what I need to do in the jazz band in concert. The score seems easy to play but it was actually very hard to play with all sorts of feel. Just back from one ensemble today and I was stuck around the score like no where. Listening to all the songs that are gonna be played. 3 songs. That's it. I am off for Funk and Swing.

My brother is back to IPOH. YES, companion at last. Since my brother left for UTP I am the only male left in the house and everything seems girlish around. So I would have to wait for him to come back during the holidays and at the same time teaching me. Haha. My family all went to KL for holidays and I have to stay home because I have tuitions and band practices to attend. So I will be home alone again till coming tuesday. Drove to school with my mother's car justnow. It sounds fun to drive an auto car to school but it isn't so fun for me cause I am too used to my grandfather's car.

Looking at other band members from other schools going for band camps is really a sad thing when we can't go for camps anymore. I want to go for band camps. I haven't had enough. Why? WHY? WHY? I miss marching every morning afternoon and night. I miss bathing with my friends(in different bathrooms of course), Climbing up toilet walls( The excos would know bout this), taking night walks along the corridor and outside during midnight having KFC. I miss those times. I miss playing marching songs. I miss carrying my drum. I wanna march. Aikz. I so wanna march and go under the sun getting tanned and sunburns. I miss those times. Form 1 and 2 and 3... and 4 and 5. WHY?!?! I want those moments. Those are the most memorable moments in my life. I want to wear my band uniform and go for prelims in other schools. I want to go for finals rehearsal in the morning reaching school at 6.40am. I want to march on the field on finals night. I want to fall-in and wait for results and sing crap songs in the bus.

I just love blogging. It's a like a diary to me. Someday I would read back all my previous posts and laugh bout it.

I Just Love Them All

I love comedies. I love sit-coms. I love funny movies. And I had just watched one today. Actually we planned to watch Prince Caspian(NARNIA) but that show was too long so ended up we watched What Happen In Vegas. Quite a funny movie. It's a bout this guy and girl who met in vegas and spent a "night" together after getting drunk and then somehow they accidently got "married" and then the story goes. Went with chee cheng and chee fei. After watching we drove straight to tuition and WoaHH we weren't late. Haha. Go watch that movie. Worth watching. Won't be going out anymore maybe until after SPM? Yeap, I went out too much. Twice this year is too much. Not for me but my mum. So, catch you guys after spm.

Anyone saw the advertisements on the left hand side of my blog? I added those advertisement a week ago and the advertisements seem very attractive to me. Personality test? Hehe. I want to click on them but if I click too much I will be charged for abusing. So guys and girls, click on those advertisements and have fun.

Band concert is exactly 16 days away and many things are not done yet. Tickets are not sold out. Advertisements are little and sponsorship is worse. OMGness, concert is coming and everything seem to be so slumber and slow. Never experienced such slow movements in MMB and only a few practices for the concert? Oh Man.

Exams Are Over

Exams are over but how will the results be? Hard work before exam, stress during exam and fear after exam. Wahlao it's a chain during exam seasons. There are results I can't wait to receive but it becomes a nightmare when they turn out the opposite you expected it to be.

I will be trying out on some google adsense. They are those boxes of advertisements you can find at the sides and corners of my blog. Tell me what you are interested in searching and reading then I will put advertisements regarding to that so that it is convenient enough for you call to click into it. How bout marching band? lolx

SMI band concert will be on 3 weeks from now(6th June 2008). My friends, join us for that concert. Come and support me people. Haha. Tickets will be RM10 each for students and RM20 for adults. Time will be 7:30pm in Yuk Choy Primary School Hall Ipoh. Thank you.
1 more month from now I will be retiring from Michaelian Military Band. 5 years had just gone by the wind so quickly. Will I be back next year to help? Will I? I hope I do because there are much more for me to do before I could leave for further studies.

I will be starting another blog with my classmate SOON. Basically on jokes and comedies. For those who are interested. Stay tuned to my blog for further updates as it will be up in a few days time I HOPE.

Time Passes By

2nd week of mid-term examinations are done going. Next week will be going through the last few days. Time passes by without noticing. If you don't count time, it passes by without you knowing. I thought this week would be a tough week for me as the hardest exams are all in this week and it just went by and I did not even feel it passing by. Great~!

My auntie from Australia will be back tomorrow from Australia to her hometown here in Malaysia. Can't wait for the candies and chocolates she would be bringing back for me. Yummy~!

Will be going to the library tomorrow to study with some friends. Will be driving there. Have been driving a lot these days. Driving to tuitions and school. Driving to tuition saves me 45 minutes than to wait for my mother to fetch my sister to tuition at 8 and pick me up on the way back. Money can't buy time.so paying a 30 cents parking ticket a week its ok to earn 45 minutes. It's is not as dangerous as anyone thinks. As long as you keep to your own path you are on the safe side and not forgetting to maintain the speed. nice to drive. Getting used to my grandfather's 20 years old saga. Can consider is very new for a 2 decades old car. The only thing is that it has no power steering. But who cares. I am getting used to it. Will be washing his car this weekend after using it so many times.

LOVE HAS NO REASON. Don't Believe? Ask yourself.

Exam Half Time

Sorry for the late updates due to examinations. Hehe. Last Wednesday Was a great day of lunch taking with my brother in Tanjung Tualang which is around 13 km from his campus. We has crabs, prawns, fish, fried oyster with eggs(aw chien or old chien, and a dish of vege.View them at my mum's blog if you are feeling really hungry now

The first week of exams was over last week. The first week was ok except for my english paper. Slack a little on the points due to stomachache after recess. Ouch! Will be going through the second week of mid-term exams starting tomorrow where I will be sitting for the hardest papers for myself.

Currently no band practices for the next one more week. That makes 3 weeks without band practices. First time in MMB 3 weeks straight without practice. Normally it's only for 2 weeks.

Time flies and passes by very fast. It's already May now. 1 month from now it will be the end of my life in MMB but once a band member always a band member. 3 months from now I will be going for SPM trials and 2 more months after that i will be sitting for SPM.

Everyone is No.1

This is a very touching video. No one is left out in anything. Almost made me cry. If you are an emotional person, watch this and I bet you will cry.

The Art Of Studying

I just finished almost 3 hours of add-maths exercises. Now I know why people take so long to study. I should have been doing this for the past few months but nevermind time cannot be turned back. Better to regret now than to regret after SPM. I keep myself positive by thinking not having the time before this because of many band matters. Studying and revising are different. Studying is much easier than revising and practicing it. I took few hours to practice on some add maths questions. Now I understand the art of studying and the correct way to study. My brother was right, practicing is more important than anything in studies. No use knowing everything and not knowing how to apply it. I am glad I am aware of my past mistakes and good thing my trials are 3 months away I have enough time to prepare myself. After mid-term I will continue studying like how I am studying now. For this mid-term exam I did lots of basics and went only a little into Enrichment and Reinforcement exercises. Those are the true exercises that will bring me up to a scoring standard. I did lots of basics and less of those. I hope the basics can bring me to at least a B for add-maths. I want to pass all my subjects and score 70 above for my english, mod/add maths, physics, EST and even moral. If I can achieve this, My trials won'e be much of a problem to me. I would not want to compare myself with other people anymore. What's important is me myself not others.

Fussy Thoughts

I love to live a simple live but my thoughts are very complicated. I like to passively get myself into fussy thoughts and thinking of complicated happenings that will happen around. I can think very in depth about something. Like CSI thinking of all the possibilities that can happen to something. Some are merely impossible to happen but some comes true when I guess of it. Past monday and tuesday I thought a lot about many many things although I can still sleep well but I had some bad dreams. Thinking too much can make our brains restless and hence causing extreme tiredness and in serious cases dizzyness. Why think so much when we can't predict the future in any ways. Good, I shall remind myself everytime I go into a fuss.

I will be driving to school soon. Most probably after the midterm holidays. It would be my turn to fetch my friend to school after him fetching me for the past half the year and last year. Give and take should be done now since I can drive.

Mid-term exams are starting next monday 28/4 till 15/5. I am not sure whether I have enough revision to score the subjects I am for. If I succeed this time, I think I would be able to win a car back for trials.

This show is indeed a very nice show with great story line and very exciting kicks by the cast. The way the Mother-In-Law do her things and plan her strategies in her career is superb. Especially the ending. This show is the best show I've watched this year so far.

Magazine editor-in-chief Gwo Bik (Liza Wang) will never save face for her superiors, nor will she come to the defense of her subordinates. She shows no mercy to her enemies and does everything she can to keep her son Gwo Duk (Bosco Wong) under her thumb. She is an iron lady who can't afford to lose anything. As she is still full of confidence that she can determine her son's future life, a plain, geeky-looking girl named Chow Lai-Man (Myolie Wu) has already managed to become the wife of Duk. Later Man resigns from the police force and chooses to work as a magazine journalist, thus leading to even more conflicts between her and Bik.

Not long after, Bik is dragged into a scandal and gets framed by her assistant Ko Ga Bo (Joyce Tang), which causes her to lose her place all of a sudden. Facing a dramatic career slump and her deteriorating relationship with her son and daughter-in-law, Bik moves to the outlying islands on her own. There she meets a new man in her life, the knowledgeable and talented But Ping-Fan (Benz Hui) who was once a convict. From Fan, Bik has learnt how to reflect on herself and let go of the past. As everything seems to be going fine, Man discovers that there is a conspiracy going on and that the magazine she is working for is in danger of falling apart.

What does it feel like after you pass your driving test and not allowed to drive? Let me say, it feels bad. i am lucky to be born on 10 of January and getting my license real early. Getting a driving license at my stage is not as fun as everyone thinks. "wow, you can drive la now" "wow, very fast ah you get your license" "can drive out already la". Let me say, it is just the SAME as not getting a driving license. What do I profit from getting a license? Yes, I get to keep extra cards in my DRAWER. I prefer being an L license driver than a P driver. At least I get to drive more when I was a student driver. Now? Everytime I want to drive I either get nagging or scoldings. What's the point? A reply always says "Not the time to drive yet " If now is not the time? when is the time? few months later? after graduating? "You are not used to the roads" What should I do? Hire and instructor and bring me round town and try every inch of the road? How can I start experiencing the road without even getting ON the road?

People can drive themselves one day after their license was printed out. Me? After 1 month now and still I can listen people saying "Drive now and you will get involve in accidents" Great, all P drivers must not drive until their license start to change colour and that's the suitable time to drive.

Why did I get my license so early? Now I have to spend even more money buying a frame and frame my license up. My brother did not drive after he passed because he did not want to. And because of that I can't drive. Another great culture, whatever my brother does not do I must not do.

I better stop blogging now. As soon as my mum reads this I shall be getting some nagging and some "sarcastic" comments.

Baby Artist

this 3 year old baby is a pure genius. Ninja Baby. Enjoy ^^

Somtime Soon

I didn't know that I have not been updating my blog for the past 9 days. I didn't know time passed so fast. Maybe it's caused by the busyness of school life these days.

Mid-term exams are coming soon(28/4). Revision has started in slow moving rate. I hope I can score a couple of As this time more than my monthly test. I want to aim As for all engineering subjects. Wonder if I could make it. Pray hard.

Next up is sponsorship. Sponsorship for the band concert this year was just launched few days ago and the progress I would say to be quite slow for now but I believe things will be better in time to com. Sponsorship is tiring but fun when it comes to asking for donations. It's nice to experience communication skills with the public. Anyone interested in tickets? rm10 for students and rm20 for adults. Interested? Drop me a message in the chatbox ^.^ Thanks

Last Sunday night I had a very great dream and yet disappointing. I dreamt from 11.45pm since the second I slept till the second i woke up. What did I dream of? I dreamt of band competition again. It was a 7 hours dream and caused me tiredness on monday morning. this dream not only gives me back a reflection of band competition but it gives me a very weird feeling of band competiton. This year's Perak Marching Band competition will be very interesting. It's disappointing when you can't compete in big fired up competitions. It's my dream to compete in this type of competition where all bands are out on the field to compete. The last time that happened was in 2004. 2005 AMc did not go out, 2006 Nan Hwa was dropping, 2007 Samtet won and nah hwa did not participate. THIS YEAR All these bands are going out in a shot and MMB is left on the audience seats. I am trying to distract myself away from thinking bout this because everytime I think bout this year's competition I feel real bad and real disappointed not going out in such a big event.

Sickening Weekend

I went to school yesterday for band practice bout 12. Yesterday's practice was all sectional and very relaxing ^^ then I called my brother to pick me up to dinner after practice. We went to somewhere in town and I always forget the name of the shop even after so many times I've been there. HAHA. So we ordered dishes and ate them all up CLEAN. Nowadays before anyone could start their meal my mum would take a photo of the dishes and post it up on her blog http://www.reanaclaire.blogspot.com

After eating we went home and everyone took their bath and slept. Me too I took my bath and sat under the fan thinking that it's ok as I often do the same thing but that was when I starting chilling myself and got myself into a little fever. Wanting to sleep but my mum and sis in one room and my bro took over the whole bed so I have to sleep downstairs on the couch. On the TV to relax before napping and to my surprise spongebob was on. LOL. And since I've not been watching this little yellow for some time I watched and ended up not napping. So again my fever got worse and worse to the extend that I can't sleep well at all at night with mosquitoes "accompanying" me.

Woke up this morning feeling much better Although I felt quite weak at this time but I still went to my father's cemetery with my family. It was very hot at 12++ noon and now I am back here online rather than lying on the bed this is the only thing I would do.

3/4/2008

Today is a very special day for me n my family. It is a very memorable date to remember and a must to remember 3rd of April. It's this date when my father went back to the Father in Heaven. It has been 11 years now and I still miss him ever since I started growing up as a teenager and feeling the importance of a father in life. Everytime I remember bout this I would spend a moment of silence. I really want to feel a father's love but unfortunately the last time I could do that was when I was 6 years old and I don't even know and feel anything that moment.
For those who still have your loved ones with you, cherish the time you have with them as you do not know when they will be away from you.

I don't know what to say. Sometimes before I blog I can think of all sorts of things to write but times like now I know I have things to write but I can't think of any. Why?

The First Song I Ever Enjoyed From American Idol

God Bless the U.S.A
(MMB's static song for 04)

so surprise when I heard it and Simon said it was great. And so do I. It was great.

MMB Spirit

Since the first day I join the Michaelian Military Band in 2004, I've always been waiting for the time when my turns come to receive the MMB spirit or more known as "Semangat MMB". It's just a feeling you can't express and it's simply indescribable. But in this term of 07/08 which is coming to an end in no time, it's a pity to see that the the spirit of the band is changing. In terms of unity and teamwork, MMB is no longer the MMB in the past. MMB is now going to transform into a technical band. MMB was a group of people gathering to meet each another, enjoys everything and does everything together. There used to be not much technical rules in MMB. Technical here for my case means something done too formally. MMB use to care less bout glory and more into pride but in this term MMB is starting to change to more into glory and although glory can lead to pride it would be a different type of pride. I use to enjoy being in MMB because everytime I see other members of other bands I have the pride and that's the pride I want to have which I have no idea how it came about. This feeling is the feeling that keeps me going in the band. MMB has something other bands do not have which is as stated in the title. It's not that the band is good or I am a good player that makes me proud. It's the spirit and the feeling of being a band member of The Saints that make me proud at that time. I must do what I can to get back the MMB spirit to keep the members together if not I will lose everything and I shall close my eyes in regrets.

Special Thanks to all my seniors who plant this feel into me and I shall never forget it. Far in the eyes but close in the heart.

Stepping Out

The Michaelian Military Band(The Saints) won't be joining the Perak Marching Band Competition this year. Due to problems we have to take a break and this happens to all bands so are we. This year is gonna be our turn. What will happen next? It really stroke me with a great emotional breakdown justnow and thank God for sending me a junior for me to talk to and release all I have to say(again). I think I can't make any changes now but I say I will be back agian next year not to compete but to help in the competition. The Saints will be back in 2009.

Next up will be concert. When is it? Where will is be? Oh ok it will be on the 31st of May 2008 in Yuk Choy Primary School Hall. For those who are interested, drop me a comment and I will reserve you a special ticket ^^

To all fans and loyal supporters of MMB. Thank you for supporting all this while and we promise you. WE WILL BE BACK IN 2009 WITH SOMETHING WE AND YOU WOULD ENJOY

What Is It Now?

Sometimes I just feel like blogging so much and I can write and think non-stop on spot. BUT sometimes I just wanna write but nothing comes to me.

It has been some time since I talked bout my happenings. Let's turn back to time back to last monday during the school holidays after the election. I don't want to talk bout election cause I am not in tune to politics although I love listening to people talking bout politics and gossiping bout one another. That's fun :)

Back on track, went to school from monday to friday every morning till afternoon to sun bath with the band - My friendly family. Although I wasn't in the formation and I wasn't participating with another friend of mine but we went there to train up the juniors. Not entering sports day was a sacrifice as this is the last year for us to go for it but what's more important is the juniors that will soon be marching in an even bigger band with more complicated drills. What happened was I became a little darker so did all the members.

I don't know why after so may years of sacrifice in the band I could receive an idea of not entering the Band Competition this year. It's like who have been working hard and waiting for this day to come are crushed down by those who doesn't put in effort. It's like you have been preparing for your exam day and night and at the end of the day you are not registered for the exam. What does it feel like? You will feel you are stupid for working so hard and you don't even get the taste of it. I don't know what I want to say here but making predictions are always stupid. I won't wanna say I fail my SPM before I even enter the examination hall. I don't want to quit when there is still a chance. Nothing is for sure. If you try at least you have the chance but if you do not you gain nothing. If there are really psychics living in this planet. I DON'T HOPE ONE OF THEM IS IN MMB.

Money Isn't Everything

Money isn't everything. But of course living in this materialistic world now money is everything. What's life without money? For me money is nothing. In life what's important is happiness. Right some may say " no money, how to get happiness?" An answer to that " There are many things on earth money can't but and indeed there are more valuable things money can't buy than things money can buy".Money can't buy happiness, money can't buy health and most importantly money can't buy love. Some may also say, mates will come to me when they smell money but a question to that "Do you get the feel of a real love by buying them?"

Money is merely nothing when you come to family relationship. Look at families today. Parents may be loaded and so are their children not with money but with corrupted minds and body. Students nowadays, teenagers in particular are time-filled with tuitions and school activities. Where does their free time go? an answer to that " REVISION, FRIENDS, MASS MEDIA," Where do they get the time to spend with their family? What does this lead to? - BROKEN FAMILY. It's undeniable that parents can't even understand their own children in the world today. I can even say that friends understand each another more than parents understanding their child who shares the same blood.

What is life when everyone in the family is like living in the wild? No time for each another. Oh year maybe meal times. So what if their child is the top student in school? straight A's scorer in public exams? when students end up realizing that they actually wasted a quater of their life spending time on non-living things.

That's how life goes these days. Great education, great undertakings, great success, great earnings, GREAT LOSS IN HAPPINESS

Photo Of The Day

Was browsing through friendster profiles and I grabbed this from someone. Hehe. I would vote for him if I've seen this before election day. :)

P license READY

Yea. My license is ready. But there is only one problem now. I can drive, I wan to drive but there is nothing for me to drive. Haha. How could I laugh? I can't but i thought it's funny for someone to learn driving who can drive but got nothing to drive. Ok let's get to today's happenings. Another problem here. I got no happening today. HAHAHA. But I've been looking and have been watching many engineering project videos like the national geographic megastructures and extreme engineering. It's nice. I am getting more and more interested in it. Who knows this might be a sign of me getting a base of interest in engineering. Watching the way they build it and the problems faced plus the solutions brought out to solve is pretty exciting.

Let's read these jokes and get into a funny malay video clip.

Ah Beng serving his NS overseas and far from home, was
annoyed and upset when his girl Ah Lian wrote breaking
off their engagement and asking for her photograph
back. He went out and collected from his friends all
the unwanted photographs of women that he could find,
bundled them all together and sent them to her with a
note stating the following:
"Regret cannot remember which one is
you...............
please keep your photo and return the others."
____________________________________________________
Once Ah Beng , Ah Seng and Ah Lian went for dinner at
the Compass Rose at the top of the Westin Stamford .
After dinner, they went to the lift scanned the
buttons and couldn't find the button for the first
floor. Ah Beng suggested taking the stairs but Ah Lian
decided to press the lift button "G". They found
themselves on the first ground and Ah Beng remarked,
"Wah, you so smart, ah. How did you know this was
ground floor?" Ah Lian replied ," Aiyah so simple you
also dunno! G: stands for gero loh!"
______________________________________________________
Ah Beng ordered a pizza and the waitress asked if he
should cut it in six or twelve pieces.
"Six, please. I could never eat twelve pieces."

~~Happy Day~~

Yea. I passed my driving test. I was nervous before entering the car but when the car starts to move with no jerk my confidence came back. So I drove all the way with no problems and mistakes until I reach the stadium roundabout,2nd roundabout, my engine die off. Not used to new cars' clutch la. My instructor's one was nice. Can feel the jerk. This new cars are so light can't feel the pedal moving also. Everytime in the traffic lights when I change to 1st gear I am always scared that my car will die off and true enough it really died once in the roundabout near the Stadium. Wahahah. But finally I passed. Gonna Collect the license tomorrow.

Another thing that happened today was I went for the test with another girl and 2 guys all under the same instructor. So when we reached there we registered and waited for the JPJ fellas to come. While waiting I was so bored I went to the girl and started talking to her and I got to know that she is actually an ex-amc band member. HOHO. So we continued chatting a little till the fellas come then while waiting for our cars we didn't talk cause I can see her nervousness. Haha. I told her to relax, the more nervous you are the more you forget. Then so she went before me and I went. Came back she told me she failed. I kept comforting her but it doesn't seem to work much. I was sad for her especially on the way back home she cried. I don't know what to do. So that's it la. Pray that she will pass on her retest.

BN (Barang Naik): The Wave Of Price Hike 加价热潮

Once A Band Member, Always A Band Member

Being a band member since 2004 is the best thing I did in my life in secondary school. Being a band member is not only about learning and marching under all sorts of weather. It's more of getting more friends and experiencing something money can't buy. If I'm not mistaken spending in the Michaelian Military Band is costly and throat cutting but the experience you can get from the band is priceless. The times and friendship you can get for that 5 years is priceless, it's something money can't buy. I have no regrets paying so much for this 5 years of priceless experience. It's my last 4 months in the band already. Time flies. No matter what I am going on for the last 4 months in the band. Money cannot turn back time. What is missed is gone but what is ahead shall be cherished. My last 5 years since 2004 till now is and will always be the best years of my life. I will never forget this experience. I don't want to grow old and regretting on what I've not done. I will cherish my time ahead.

To all MMB Bandsmen out there who is reading this blog. Do think bout what you've been gaining. All the cries and laughters. It's really something that happens only once in your lifetime. And to think back, friends in the band are the friends you spend most of your time with.

~With Pride Shall We March~

Chinese New YEar Delicacies

So I missed the food during Chinese New Year and today I got the chance to taste back what I've missed. But of course it's not as grand as Chinese New Year cause today is only the last day of Chinese New Year not Chinese New Year. Aikz. So the dishes are not as much but anyhow I enjoyed the food though.

YEAH~!!! Today was the last day for February test. SMI school test and exams are always earlier than other schools in Ipoh or perhaps in other states. LOL. Thought of resuming my car lessons after the test but unfortunately my instrutur's car broke down AGAIN. What to do. To many students to help kill the car for so many times already. Delayed L license also because of this problem. Aikzz. Nevermind. However I will be taking my test on the 5th. According to my friend, he said that before elections very easy to pass the test. Hopefully it's true.

Went out with Chee Ken today together with Shahrin and Navin. Had a half an hour chat in town drinking only and crapping. After that he fetched Naving and Shahrin back to school and I forced him to fetch me home cause if not, by the time my grandfather comes to school and going home from school I would be wasting half an hour.

There's this clip by PETRONAS for this year's Chinese New Year. It's very touching and meaningful. I don't know why people nowadays think that going back for a reunion dinner with the family is a boring and a waste of time and they rather go out with friends more than being with the family. Some people in this world are so desperate for a meal and they are unfortunate enough that they don't get it. I advise those who have the chance to go home for reunion dinners or even family time. Cherish it while some people can't even have the chance to feel it.

Should or Shouldn't???

I started my undang on the 5 of January and it took me almost 2 months to complete all my course to get my driving license. I will be taking the practical test only on 5th of march. The question that keeps wondering in my mind is that should I be angry at my instructor for causing the delay in my L license or should I accept it as a fate? cause everytime I think back bout this I feel angry as my birthday is so early 10 of Jan and it took me till March to complete my course.

Looking on the bright side, my instructor is a really good instructor and his prices are very reasonable. That was the main reason why he delayed my license because he had too many students under him and his car keeps spoiling. So should I continue blaming him? As for me I accept this as a give and take situation where I have to sacrifice my time for a better and cheaper instructor.

Hows life with L

L means L license la. Haha. Finally finished my 6 hours today with my pre-test done. Now have to wait for monday to continue another 2 hours and another day another 2 hours then I am good to go for the P test on 5 of march. I hope I pass then I can drive during the holidays. ^.^. Pre-test today is so not fun. The car that I drove is so hard to drive I thought I've done badly but according to my instrutor he say "you are not the only one, many people had complained bout her car. Her car has problems" so glad to hear that at least it wasn't fully my wrong. Haha

Hows life in school? School is normal. Nothing happening except for monthly test next week and waiting for the timetable to change so that I don't have to stay back every wednesday and thursday for extra 2 periods. Great~!!!

won't be having dinner tonight. Why? Simply because my mum is outstation and I will be following my grandfather to somewhere to have buffet dinner. Haha.

Ok, what's up next. Wilson will be going to Poly next month and nothing much we could do after that. Both of us would be busy for the year. One first year at poly one spm year. Ok, let's just get along with what I want to do. Actually I plan to open a blog filled with jokes crapz comedies and someday podcasts with him but since he is gonna be busy then guess we will have to hold it up.

My handphone( N 3250 ) is finally back with me yesterday but won't be using it now cause I wanna get a crystal casing for it first so that I don't scratch it again like last time cause I HAVE NO WARRANTY NOW and I am currently using w710i. So no difference la use or ndon't use first but of course my nokia can keep more things and do more things than this w710i. Great~!!!

It's Over. Back To Square

Why do people like me in life misses things so much? Why do people like me can't let things pass by just like that and wiping all memories off instantly? When things are happening it's so easy to enjoy it and it's so hard to plan how to let it go. Like love, so easy to start so hard to end. But my problem now isn't bout love la =.=

Mine is more of emo reactions. My cousin has been spending a month here with me and now he is gone back to JB. It's all like ok my room suddenly has more space, I feel so less packed with stuffs but that isn't wat I want. I wish I could continue being in a pack room, coming back after school already and there will be someone for me to bully and someone to bully me, walking back from buffet at exelsior, walking to pasar malam every week and singing all the way back from stadium everyweek, walking there and back almost few times a week for tea time(Penang Chao Kuey Teow). The only problem was gaining calories. What's Life? This is life. Spending time doing things you REALLY want to do and not doing things for the sake of completing others' plessure. We two same 90% almost the same thoughts and feelings. It's so hard to find someone so common but yet so far away. So near yet so far. Near in heart far in the eyes. We thought it was hard to plan how to come here for a month but it's even harder to feel how to leave. I hope he too has the same feelings as I am feeling now. I really do enjoy my time when he was here accompanying me but I am not sure and I feel sorry everytime when I go to school and tuitions I need to leave him here alone. Hopefully next year I can do the same but this time I am going down to his place!!!

What A Celebration

Whatssup with that title over there? What a celebration? Seems like I didn't enjoy my Chinese New Year as much as I should. What Happened?

Let's start off with Tuesday. I woke up from my nap in the evening I start to feel a little hot, so I took a panadol and did not go for physics tuition. Ok, that night went on quite ok. Then the next day I woke up feeling fever. OMGness, the reunion dinner would be coming in like 10 hours and I am having a fever of 38 degrees celsius. It's ok I told myself. It's ok. I went downstairs I grabbed a tin of 100plus drank it with full force and after finishing it I felt a little better so I continued with some rest hoping by the night comes I can enjoy the food served on the dinner table. So I slept and slept and slept and when I woke up *YEAH* I felt better so I ran down to grab another tin of 100plus and drank it. After that I went to bath and went to my grandma's for dinner. After dinner went to my another grandma's house to hang out with my cousins from KL. Then bout 10 something I came home and took a slept and there goes one day.

The next morning, I woke up feeling quite alright and when my mum came in and told me that my body is filled with red dots. I went to the mirror and see. OMGness, THERe ARE RED DOTS. But the fever wasn't there. So what was it actually? Went to the doctor yesterday midnight when I was suffering from a high fever of 38.4 the doctor said I had measles. Great. Of all days why chinese new year and I would be all fine by school reopens, This is crap. I have to stay home and stay out of every food that there is in everypart of the house. I have fever up and down and the worse thing is I am suffering from an extreme pain sorethroat. ISH~!!

Happy Chinese New Year

Before wishing anyone happy chinese new year, I've got something to say. Haha. First of all, the popteen competition this is my throphy. Haha. No cash prize only one trophy. AIkz.

Second I would like to say that in this world everything is done by giving and taking. Just like what happened to me. I won the popteen 2nd prize and ya of course I have to give something. Haha. What's that? I broke my whole right toe nail. It was so pain. It's like the whole nail is opened up and blood kept flowing down like waterfall. And worse part is the nail haven't drop off. Tangling there. For the mean time can't wear shoes. No shoes for Chinese New Year. Sad. Was sick this evening so stayed at home to do chemist and add-maths holiday homework. Now I've got few history notes and essays to do. Great. Let'sa have a Happy and Prosperous Chinese New Year.

Jokes Time Again

First Joke

A woman was in bed with her lover when she heard her husband opening
the front door. "Hurry!" she said, "stand in the corner."

She quickly rubbed baby oil all over him and then she dusted him with
talcum powder. "Don't move until I tell you to," she whispered.

"Just pretend you're a statue."

"What's this, honey?" the husband inquired as he entered the room.

"Oh, it's just a statue," she replied nonchalantly.

"The Smiths bought one for their bedroom. I liked it so much, I got one
for us too." No more was said about the statue, not even later that night
when they went to sleep.

Around two in the morning the husband got out of bed, went to the
kitchen and returned a while later with a sandwich and a glass of milk.

"Here," he said to the 'statue', "eat something. I stood like an idiot
at the Smiths' for three days, and nobody offered me as much as a glass of
water."

Second Joke

Ah Seng wants to make love with Ah Lian but he is afraid that Ah Lian will get pregnant, so he approaches his friend Ah Beng for advice. Ah Beng said "Aiya, very easy one lah. Nah, take this packet of condoms and follow the instructions, nothing will happen one." So Ah Seng takes the condom and at night makes love with Ah Lian. Two months later, Ah Seng comes to look for Ah Beng and tells him that Ah Lian is pregnant.
"Cannot be what, did you follow the instructions or not?" asks Ah Beng.
"Na -bei! Got lah. The box says "Stretch the condom over organ before intercourse, I got no organ, so I stretch it over my piano loh."

Popteen Finals

So what happened in popteen? Haha. My band succeeded 2nd in the contest. out of 15 participants. Superman is and was a great song to play. Haha. What we got for 2nd place is only one trophy and I got one free coke cause I asked for it. Haha. Was too thirsty at that moment.

Everyone saw that video me and my cousin took down there? The "journey" home from exelsiors. Tomorrow or later in the evening we will be going to MP or Exelsior again for a last buffet before chinese new year and before wilson leaves. Need to enjoy eating again. Haha.

Band competition will be in april/may? OMGness. Okey, nothing to panic actually. Didn't expect it to be so soon and so "surprising" but for me still ok la as in my section percusssion. Members are dedicated at least. That's the best you could get out of your members. Hopefully in MMB the spirit doesn't die off because of the "surprising" date cause no matter what we must uphold the SMI spirit in our hearts. Listen BANDSMEN, it's not the time to give up now but it's the time to fight for what's in front of you and not the time to figure out reasons to give up this year. K people. Don't give up. TIme waits for no one. You can't control time but you can control what time can do for you.

A Trip To Excelsior Hotel For Buffet

Haha. The title said it. Ya went to Excelsior Hotel for buffet today. First we went to parade to jalan-jalan then after that bout 2 we were on the way home when me cousin said let's have buffet later for tea. Then I was like Ok let's do it but my mum did not want to have buffet so ended up she left me and my cousin there like dungu's looking around. Haha. It was fun. So we walked all the way to greentown PATRICK to get our hair a cut cause the buffet starts only at 3pm. So we walked all the way there and all the way back to the Hotel to eat. Then we spent bout one and a half hours there makan-ing and enjoying getting fats into our digestive system. THEN there is when the fun thing starts. I called my mum " Mum, can you fetch us now?" She asked us to take a cab then we said OK. Then Wilson started " Do you wanna take up a challenge? Let's walk home from here." I was like "OK let's do it from Excelsior back to Ipoh Garden" So we walked and sweat all the way home and we did take a video of our "journey" haha. We walked bout an hour. Ok let's stop the story and go to the clip.

Post no.100 [So Fast]

This is already post number 100. I just noticed that after i logged in my blogger account.

So let me reveal back what I've been doing for the past few days. My few friends and I joined the SMI POPTEEN singing competition. Right so we practices last monday in my house cause I have the drums piano and stuffs all in my house. It is more convenient then to move the whole drumset to others' house. Haha. So we practiced again the next day and what song are we playing? Superman by Five For Fighting. Alex doing the vocals, Nic on the piano, Girish on the guitar and me behind the drums. Went for audition today but it was only dry singing and I wasn't there cause I needed to attend band meeting. So how did Alex do? did he bring us to finals? We shall see on monday ^.^

Last wednesday which was 2 days ago, haha, me and wilson went to pasar malam by legs. IT wasn't tiring indeed it was fun walking there and walking rounds there. Looking at girls, getting food everywhere we go and stuffs. That's what idiots do on the streets in pasar malan. Haha. After tar-pau-ing some food for my mum and sister[did'nt] know what to get] walked back home and we eventually became real idiots singing all the way home disturbing all the neighbors and got the dogs barking along the houses. After reaching home my mum asked why is there so little food? "Only ah pom and soya and why nolaksa?" There and then I remember "Right Laksa" that's why I kept thinking what should I get. Haha. Nevermind next week another week. Haha.

L license

Finished my 3 hours outdoor on friday. It was so fun to crive. Normally people only get to drive for one and a half hours but i got to drive for 3 hours. My instructor saved the time from teaching me bout the parts of the car to driving straight away. It is so fun to change clutch and stuffs. Can;t wait to get behind the wheels next week when my L license come out. Now processing. Hehe.

Read the post underneath, it's nice ^.^

Malaysia Exam Style [Boleh-Lah]

The objective of STPM is to pass people?

How do you explain the fact that 87% of the students passed the
examinations of the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
recently? When during your grandfather's time only 10% would have
passed? Are students getting smarter? Or are STPM questions getting
easier? Let me put things in their proper perspective.

During your grandfather's time, they would ask exam questions like:
In what year did Parameswara founded the kin gdomof Melaka?
The correct answer was "1402", and they found that only 10% of the
students managed to answer the question correctly. This didn't go down
too well with the authorities, because the objective of the exams was
to pass people.
I mean, what's the point of having exams if people fail?

So later, they found another way to ask the same question:
Parameswara founded the kin gdom of Melaka in the year:
(a) 2001
(b) 2004
(c) 1986
(d) 1975
(e) 1402
Tick the correct answer.

The results were better in that 20% of the students passed. But it
was still not good enough, so the authorities tried a different tact a
few years later.
Parameswara founded the kin gdom of Melaka in the year1402. True or false?
Well, half of the students guessed "True" and the other half guessed
"False". Fully 50% passed. The results were getting pretty acceptable
by now.

Most other countries would be satisfied with a 50% passing rate, but
not us. We are a better country, because we are a boleh country. The
authorities then cracked their heads and then came out with this one:

Read the following sentence carefully.
"Parameswara, the cousin of Proton-Iswara, founded the kin gdom of
Melaka in the year 1402."
Underline the name of the person who founded Melaka.
60% underlined "Parameswara", 30% underlined "Proton-Iswara" and 10%
underlined "1402". Hooiyoh......60% managed to pass! So krever!

But for some reason, the authorities were still not contented. So last
year, they came out with this gem:
One day in the year 1402, Parameswara founded the kin gdom of Melaka .
Then he went home to have dinner. What did he eat?
13% handed in blank answers, 57% wrote "Maggi Mee", and 10% wrote
"Kentucky Fried Chicken", and 20% wrote "Tree bark".
The official answer was "Food" of course!

After the marking was over, it was found that 87% of the students had passed.
87%............now that's pretty impressive!
So it's true. The students are indeed getting smarter.

This Is Life

Things have been very busy around my life these days. What's up with the busyness I am struggling with? Well lets put them into a list of 3 groups. STUDIES , BAND AND MY DRIVING LICENSE.

Lets start of with studies first. I've started my revision and studying since beginning of this year. I have tried and I've did it. I no longer procrastinate as much as I do last time. I force myself to sit on the chair in front of the study table and start doing stuffs. After 5 minutes or so my legs became too lazy to carry me up and my mind went into the books. So that was how I did my studies without procrastinating. Basically I started with my form 4 works as I can say I NEVER did study in form 4. That's how those C and D's got printed on my report card. People might say to me. "Relaks lah, so kan cheong for what" but for me it isn't much time for me cause I am not the other smart people out there. I admit I am a slow absorber. I take a real long time to understand studies. That's why time is really important to me. How I wish I could be just like Jeffery where he has a photographic mind I don't. He can simply beat my studies in a ratio of 3:1 study time.

Moving on to my band life. I haven't been attending practices for 2 weeks for I have to go for my car lessons. Speaking bout car lessons, I am suppose to take my L license this week. I've to delay it for a week because my instrutors car broke down so I can't go for the outdoor car course for 3 hours. Need to do it this week so that I can get my L by next week.

Jealousy is a sin. Why be jealous of others when God made everyone special with their own strength and weaknesses. No one is perfect. Different people have different capabilities. You might feel useless and bad in the eyes of mankind but what's most important is everyone is a great creation in the eyes of the Lord.
Something I learned recently. Keep this in mind and your life would be much easier.

PASSEDDDDDD~!!!!

YEAH~!!! I passed my undang test. nearly fail though. I got 43/50. Haha. Lucky number huh. 2 more to fail. God bless I passed. Will be going for khusus kereta tomorrow for 6 hours.

My best friend who was borned on the same day as me. Thanks to all my friends who wished me. Thank you FRIENDS. ^.^

Gonna go for my undang test this friday which means I ahve to skip induction but nevermind it's all covered. I hope I pass 42 and above then I can proceed for my L license on saturday. Hehe. If I pass I will be listening to 6 hours of khusus this saturday then I can proceed to spend 8 - 10 hours behind the wheel then proceeding to practical exam AND THEN I WILL BE GETTING MY 'P' LICENSE. I hope i can drive by Chinese New Year. Hehe. Then I can drive to school and tuition. Hehe.

Procrastination. A word that used to interfere my life last year. To be direct, in my studies. Haha. I NEVER actually studied last year and my results were like as bad as ART clasees. But starting from this year. I am starting to avoid procrastination and I actually am avoiding it. I actually get to start my studies and not getting influence my the computers outside my room. But somehow they can tempt me. I feel that I am getting influence with hong kong TVB series. Hehe. Nowadays I rather spend my time in front of the TV more than the COMPUTER. It has been a long time since the last time I online that's why this blog was so abandoned. Thanks for checking out my blog and reading news and updates bout myself. Hehe.

Happy New Year

Yea. Another year is going to pass in about 11 hours time. Time passes so fast. I am gonna spend my last year in SCHOOL next year. Every child has to study for 6 years in primary school and 5 years in secondary and now I am gonna go through my 11th year the last year of schooling in 11 hours more. Well of course SPM will also be creeping nearer to me. So, spending 2007 was also a great time I had especially during the end term spending my time in hong kong. Haha.

Holidays 2007 seemed to be very short but 2008 will be long after my spm. Haha. That would be pretty long unless I go for NS.

Many things in 2007 I can't turn back. There are many things in life where after doing it there is no return. The times I spent with my family and friends in hong kong can't be turned back. It's just an experience once in my lifetime. It will be a sweet memory for now and always. Aihz.

Lets look forward to a new year next year.
